Our Story

What started as wedding plans became a life with dreams that became a reality.

In 2020, after almost two years of planning our wedding, the world changed. Like so many others, our plans were affected by the pandemic. We made the decision to scale everything back to a simple and meaningful ten-person ceremony. Instead of a large celebration, we used what would have been our wedding budget to purchase our farm. It was the best decision we could have made.

From the very beginning, this land has been a place of gathering. Friends and family naturally gravitate here. Our farm feels like a step back in time - to a simpler time. We notice how faces light up and how people slow down the moment they arrive. Our farm reminds many of their own outdoor childhood memories and experiences, which sparks meaningful conversations while guests visit our animals, walk our fields, and soak in all that nature offers.

There is a sense of nostalgia here, that is the feeling we want to share.

We are a family-run farm in Spencer Ohio, owned and cared for by Ben and Emily Haury. It has been so special to us to have our own farm. Ben is a fourth generation farmer, he grew up raising beef cattle and planting crops with his grandfather and father on his family farm. We are proud to raise our children here and continue the legacy of farming within the Haury family.

In 2025, we were grateful to expand, which has allowed us to officially open our doors for this agri-tourism journey. Today, we host mini cattle and lamb experiences, photography sessions and are continuing to grow and explore what this land can offer, including some seasonal surprises we're excited about.

We hope our place can create a space where people can step back from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with nature and leave feeling a little more grounded than when they arrived.

And that for a moment, the world feels slower - and exactly as it should.
